Body butters
Body Butter---what do you think of when you hear those two words put together? When I think of body butter I think of a very thick, greasy and hard to absorb product that you hope eventually will moisturize your skin after the hours of it leaving you feeling just like you took a dip in the Crisco.
I have tried many brands out on the market and I have loved many of them. I mostly find that if a product smells amazing I am going to purchase and use it. I never thought too much about ingredients or what was in what I was using until this past year when my son turned vegan.
It's funny what a family member's lifestyle change can do to your perspective on products. So I decided I was going to look for products that were better for the environment, had great ingredients, cruelty free and using sustainable ingredients. I mean we don't want to use items that some day we can never get again just for the sake of feeling nice and soft!
So anyway, when I joined Perfectly Posh it was not the first product I used that had great ingredients. Actually, I tried a company called Lush...which don't get me wrong has some pretty awesome products. However, I also had some bad experiences where I felt like something smelled great from the bottle but the residual fragrance was very unpleasant...I mean wow, I had to throw it away unpleasant. The downside I found too was they were really expensive and felt like I got so little product and paid a lot. Everyone works really hard for their money and that really matters in this economy or if you are raising a family. You just can't blow money on product like that or at least I feel that way.
Getting back to body butters. When I joined Perfectly Posh I was really taking a big chance because I never used a single product of theirs before, not even a sample! Scary that you could be joining something that you could totally hate, but I have not been disappointed.
So my favorite product so far as been our body butter. They are very different than I expected or from my experience. I've used very waxy and thick butter before that even require your body heat to melt and absorb. However, when I opened our Brazilian Bombshell body butter it was thinner than expected almost whipped looking. The fragrance is nutty, but not like coconut, more like an almond oil without the cherry-type undertone. Needless to say to me it is very feminine and reminds me of going to the beach. It absorbed into my skin really quickly and left me very soft and smooth. I was really surprised to that even after washing my hands a few times during the day after you know using the restroom it didn't feel like it was GONE. The only downside to loving this body butter is that the container is a bit large for just carrying in your purse. I do wish this scent was in our hand cream so it's a bit more portable.
I encourage you to read our label and check out what we use in our products. I am in love with our body butter and have since trying it not gone back to another product...
Thanks for giving me your time---Until next time...

SAD CUZ IT'S ALMOST GONE....Good thing I can order more! :D
