New business!

SO ....roll out the red carpet...here is my brand new business, Perfectly Posh! I'm very excited about this product line. Every item is made right here in the USA and under $25. I mean I have been to more expensive places and have not found them nearly as wonderfully scented as these items.
We carry scrubs, butters, face masks, facial scrubs and moisturizer, perfume oil and so much more.

One of my most favorite product is the coconut oil!

This coconut oil has a sweet, lemony type fragrance. Like regular coconut oils it does become solid in colder temps and liquid in warmer temperatures or upon touching your skin. All the girls I work with continue to ask to use my product on a daily basis and request this one in particular. I don't mind because  the more they use it the closer I am to getting them hooked like I am.
So here is my website: www.perfectlyposh.com/nicolefischer
I hope you look forward to more posts about our brand and if you want a sample comment below!

Holidays with the grandbaby and pets!

So....and yet again it has been forever and a day since I last posted a blog entry. I guess life has gotten away from me. Since I was away things have changed a lot ...I took my middle son off to college. He's now in LA trying to make a name for himself and knows everything about the "industry" according to the book of Noah. Every movie he watches are now created and split into "Acts". UGH!, Why can't you just watch a movie and describe it like normal people...beginning, middle and end. ANYWAYS....The holidays are now upon us and it has taken over my house. My grandson had decided he wanted to put up the Christmas tree. Considering he is only two this requires adult supervision. We got it all set up and the baby is actively decorating away...put this here, and that there...and when asked; He's putting up the Christmas tree..."Come on, Dude!" He's a very serious little one!
Oh and in our tree has an exciting feature this year---it's the jumping cat! Seriously, do you know how difficult it is to decorate a tree w/ a cat zooming thru the branches at top speed knocking all the ornaments off as fast as you are decorating? And while you decorate he will jump out at random and scare the living snot out of you! It causes much laughter but some near coronaries as well.  It is a pointless task with this furry critter working against you. Needless to say the grand-child thinks of it as a new game and gets to decorate the tree daily w/ the dozens of freshly tossed ornaments on the floor courtesy of the cat on a daily basis! Guess that's cheap entertainment :D

All is well and until next time Peace and <3 --Nicole

Dog beds

So my husband decided he was going to clean again! OH, heaven help me and my house! I don't know if any of you have a husband like mine, but he doesn't really CLEAN the house, but he merely shifts things. He is a shifter of crap, except TODAY, well mostly!
Today, he decided to dismantle our dog crate that all of our 4 dogs fight over and LOVE sleeping in throughout the day. So he took it down, put it ...who knows where, I'm sure I'll stub my toe on it sometime in the middle of the night! Then threw the old pet bed in the trash. He put down a rug for them and their toys and so proud of what he had done called me in to look at it! I told him that he was a bad doggie daddy and that the dogs were going to be very upset with him for taking away their bed! He was like....I gave them this carpet and it has toys! Almost, beating his chest! ha ha ha!..I just walked away shaking my head.
After coming back from the store, I found my dogs...one on the ottoman, one on my bed, one on the couch and one in his special room and all looked disgruntled! I don't think any of them looked at the rug or had anything to do with their toys! Nope, they are still right where my husband left them.
Guess, I'll be buying new pet beds :/ ....as for the rest of my recently shifted items my husband decided to clean...I'm sure I'll find them in a week or two! :D
Until next time!--Nicole

Expansion Into New Worlds!

I'm so excited that my business is able to take me into places that I have never traveled but only have dreamed of going ....someday! My "bucket list" of travel dreams, you could say! #Scentsy is opening its doors on 1 September to #Australia, #Mexico, #France, #Spain and #Poland. What an amazing opportunity this brings to the men and women of these countries! I only wished I had gotten in on the Scentsy journey when it had first opened their doors here in the US 9yrs ago and gotten in on this #groundflooropportunity.
Can you imagine what would happen or the growth that your business would be at 9yrs later? I am in awe.
However, I have been making some amazing new friends around the globe not seeking out potential recruits in any of these countries at all but looking for people that inspire me with common interests. It is amazing to me some of the people that I have met on my journey! I have met an amazing artist, a journalist that speaks probably 40 different languages--so jealous! People I can relate to on a personal level and just so many people to list. Teachers, I love teachers because I love learning about everything and anything! Yes, my business is coming to their neck of the woods, but I'm not recruiting them I want to have lasting relationships with people around the world and build a friendship--to me this is more important.
I'm sure they know that Scentsy is coming to their country and my headline on my twitter tells them I sell the products, but to me...what is more important? Building a relationship on trust or just making "friends" w/ the intent to recruit only? I know their are people out there with only the last point in the back of their minds, but I would rather have a friend.
I love my business of Scentsy and Grace Adele very much and want to share it with the world when the time is right. Most of my recruits come to me and ask me about this business because they love our products and the time for building a business is right for them. I would encourage anyone to start a home business with Scentsy Family products. I want my daughter to start her own Scentsy business, but the timing isn't just quite right--but soon it will be!--I can't wait to sponsor her too, because she is going to be a great consultant!
I just love the integrity that this company has always had, the products I use everyday in my own life and I have never found something that brings me so much joy in my life.

So here are some of my FAVORITE NEW Items that are coming or are already available in the US for Grace Adele (the purses), The product sheet is projected for Australia, and the other items are projected in our Fall/Winter catalog US..I just love our Scentsy products..Some day I hope I get the opportunity to meet you and share them with you too! ---Peace and <3 and Until next time....Nicole

Casserole night!

So I see people that can blog and be funny and enjoy doing this whole thing....I however, am funny in person! :D  I am not the world's best blogger! I can Pinterest and pin every recipe you can find and cannot cook squat! Unfortunately, my husband hates my cooking and especially hates casseroles! I, on the other hand LOVE casseroles and will find every possible recipe on Pinterest you can find and would make every one of them and my husband would insist they are, what he calls, "SHIT!"  The other day I made what is called a "Cowboy Casserole". This thing was the bomb in my mind and my boys loved this thing, it had meat, corn, cream of mushroom soup, the devil in my husband's eyes and should be banned from ever being made,  cheese, sour cream-God's best created food according to my husband (he has food issues), and tater tots. So I cook this up...he takes a look at it, the boys are eating and he says, what is this crap? I told him to just go about his business and prepare his own meal because he won't like it anyway. He might as well eat a grilled cheese sandwich! LOL! In other words...move along peasant! ;)

The only thing I have realized from making recipes from Pinterest--I don't like to cook! :D I never have enjoyed this whole ...woman get in the kitchen and bake me cookies and pies and meals, kind of thing! I CAN appreciate a great meal! I just don't want to be the one cooking said big meal! Some people enjoy that kind of thing, I just am not that person! Now, I will go in there and make me a big ole pot of noodles, throw some butter on them, salt and pepper and I am good, dinner! However, my kids do not appreciate this method or approach to said meal making! I could live on noodles for a lifetime, my kids would kill me-which then forces me onto said ...Pinterest and I must then come up w/ a dinner idea!

I think my husband would prefer grilled cheese! LOL :D  Casserole it is baby, cuz I'm cookin up some shit for dinner! :D

Have a great one!

Thanksgiving

Can you believe that it is already time for Thanksgiving? Often we see posted on Facebook and other social media sites people stating all the things they are thankful for; So of course I will spend a bit of time here sharing what it is that I am most thankful for in my life.
One, I'm thankful to God that I have my family! I am very blessed to have my children, as much as they are crazy-makers through-out the year with their hair-brained ideas! I'm still glad I have them! Now, if they would find jobs and move out of my house I would be even more blessed ;) ....Just kidding!!! Seriously, I'm hoping that the kids would find jobs so that they can become responsible adults and learn how to answer to a boss and move on in the world...however, we are still waiting on this to happen!....SLOWLY!!!
Second, I'm thankful for my health. Most of you don't realize that as a disabled vet, I struggle with fibromyalgia and numerous other medical issues. That being said, it could be worse! Living with pain on a daily basis, I have found that having my home business of Scentsy helps me to keep my mind off of it and allows me to focus on making other people happy with a product that they enjoy!
Third, I'm thankful for my fur-babies! As much as I talk about my island of misfit pets...without them our house would be lonely! They keep things interesting everyday and I am blessed to have them in my life.
Finally, the one thing that a lot of people also don't realize about me is I donate to the community. I'm thankful for my ability to give back to others. I don't say this to say, "Yeah me"...I'm putting this in my blog, because it hasn't always been this way. Believe me I have been on the receiving end of donations in my lifetime, I have received food, clothes, whole meals, bags of groceries, and money during the holidays for my family and always felt that if ever I could turn the tables I would. This way if someone else could benefit the way I did they could, Pay it Forward! For the last two years thru my Scentsy business I have made it a point to donate to Toys For Tots since my kids have received thru this organization and other similar organization. I have been so thankful that God has blessed me and my family despite the economy to be able to continue to do this!

So I'm thankful, very thankful everyday...for my family, pets, a job, Scentsy...which allows me to donate to others...and my customers. God has truly blessed my life and I'm thankful!

Everyday we should count our blessings and never forget a simple random act of kindness!
Never let an opportunity to pay if forward pass you by!

Buy someone a cup of coffee just because, expect nothing in return, imagine the expression on their face when you do this? I've done this....It brightens someone's day!

Be Thankful for your  blessings each and everyday, not just at Thanksgiving!...Until Next time! :D

Me Time

As a mom, I find that it is so important to take time for yourself! I love the fact that Scentsy gave us our Layers line last spring! I have fallen in love with this line completely! I used to use Philosophy and Bath and Body works as my shower gels and lotions exclusively but have switched since Scentsy introduced their line...and not just because I sell the products but because really it moisturizes far superior and it smells better!  I have NEVER really been a fan of body butter because I do not like my skin to feel greasy or sticky, but OMG my skin is really dry from all the medications that I take.  So anyway, I decided to give this a shot...I fell in love and I use this everyday even before I go to work after my shower in the morning!
Also, who doesn't need a break from the kids!? I know I love to take a break and my ME TIME...is to take a warm bath! When Scentsy introduced our bath tablets I wasn't exactly sold just because I am not big on bath additives except I did LOVE the Bath and Body works Spearmint and Eucalyptus Stress salts. Sooooo, I tried these just to see how these would be and I will say I really like them a lot! One, I love our fragrances which is nice! Also, the bath tablets leave your skin feeling soft but not greasy because they have a little mineral oil in them! Needless to say, I'm once again enjoying my ME TIME with my Scentsy Bath tablets and I would suggest them to any mom to check them out! It's a spa at home and for young mom's out there with kids sometimes you just need a little get-a-way! :)  Put a warmer in your bathroom, add one of our great spa scents to the mix and you have an entire spa experience for a great price and can be repeated over and over w/out costing $100's of dollars!
One of my favorite fragrances in the spa line right now is Awakening...it's light, soft, clean but still feminine. It's the perfect fragrance in my opinion and I have had so many compliments whenever I wear it! Actually, it's funny...when I go over to drop off orders I will put some lotion on and some
of the ladies will stop and just smell my hands! :)
Anyway, taking time for yourself...just makes you feel good, is relaxing and helps you to rejuvenate and  lets you be the best mom you can be! I didn't always take the time for myself, and I probably should have...even if it's a 10 min bath! Sometimes hitting the reset button, even on us mom's helps a lot to make it thru the day!
I hope you enjoy the review of the products...but most of all...take some time for yourself so you can be the best you possible! :D
....Until next time!
